Make Him A Leader

"Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it."
Proverbs 4:23
Lord,

I pray that my husband will continue to grow spiritually through the disciplines of Bible study, prayer, and quiet times.  That he will always have a heart that is seeking after yours in every way possible. For him to be the leader that I have learned he needs to be, he has to cherish his own relationship with you. He has to value it and spend time with it. If he is ever feeling drought and down about his relationship with you then I hope that he will seek counsel from someone, whether it be me, our pastor, or one of his godly friends. He is your son and my brother before he is my husband. Please let us both always remember that. Let us both respect everything that you have to say about how to live our lives or how to raise our children or how to be a friend. Please allow the two of us to always be seeking after you. Lord, make him a leader. A strong leader in every aspect of his life. In our church, with his friends, at his job, in our home, in our relationship, with his family, with mine, with ours. I need someone who is strong and stable, someone who is on fire for you and knows what it means to live his life for you and only for you.

Amen.

25 Prayers I Pray for My Husband

This blog is going to all be prayers that I pray for my future husband, which I know that the Lord will bring me someday. I will start out with a list of 25 prayers that I found on pinterest. But I know that I will eventually diverge from that list. These are going to be all the things that I need my husband to me. Or that I want him to be. Or that I am asking the Lord to give him to make him a perfect husband to me and father to our (possible) children. I am going to try my very hardest to keep what I'm praying for biblical, so that I don't get out of hand and start asking for him to have red hair or something silly like that. Haha.
